Kagi announces the General Availability of Kagi Shopkeeper™ 2.0

Newest version of online store and account management tool simplifies and streamlines creation of online stores for downloadable software and digital content.

Berkeley, California — October 11, 2011 — Kagi, ecommerce provider for software developers and digital content suppliers, today announced the general availability of Kagi Shopkeeper™ 2.0, its online store and account management tool. Utilizing a WYSIWYG editor and drag-and-drop functionality, the full-featured and modernized interface allows store owners to easily create and manage their stores, shopping carts, products, discounts and coupons, license codes, and more.

"We wanted to develop a tool that would allow not only technical people to quickly set up and administer an online store, but would also enable business people to do so as well," said Vicki Thomas, Chief Operating Officer of Kagi. "Historically, our customer base has been technical Mac and Windows software developers. With Kagi Shopkeeper, we can now better serve the non-technical market, as well as provide the capability for developers to still do some coding for more customized configurations."

• End-to-end localization of the buyer experience through automatic translation of store elements, product names, descriptions, and confirmation emails
• Discount and coupon manager
• Store dashboard for rapid access to business metrics
• Integration with store owner’s Google Analytics, Meta key words and descriptions
• Real-time inventory manager

The majority of Kagi’s suppliers have had access during the Beta phase of Kagi Shopkeeper. The feedback has been positive.
