Kee founded Kagi in September 1994. As the developer for the initial Kagi systems, Kee pioneered one of the very few ecommerce sites on the web that began and remains strong in the international arena. Kee has cultivated Kagi as a much-needed alternative channel to support original digital content for both entrepreneurial and mid-tier clients. Prior to founding Kagi, Kee was already an accomplished software programmer. From 1981 to 1986, Kee worked as a Process Control System Engineer with Chevron USA. As a product marketer for Apple from 1994 to 1995, he specified and delivered Apple's first internet server, the Apple Internet Server Solution for the Web. He founded and ran Kagi Engineering from July 1988 to June 1994, where he designed and optimized large AppleTalk networks. Kee holds three patents and has published numerous technical magazine articles. He holds a BSEE from Texas A&M University. He enjoys the Entrepreneur Organization peer group meetings and the social events they have such as race driving at Laguna Seca, tours inside Alcatraz prison, and woodland survival skills.
