Add instant gratification to your downloaded try-before-you-buy software! The Kagi Registration Module (KRM) puts the Kagi store inside your software. KRM is a small version of the Kagi store that is embedded directly into your software. This enables your customer to pay for and register your software without ever leaving your product. The purchase is immediate and fast. KRM not only encourages impulse buying, but also eliminates all post-purchase support problems. Your customers will no longer be confused about how best to copy and paste registration codes from an email—problems that all too often result in unnecessary refunds and chargebacks.

Here’s how it works: KRM collects the customer's credit card information, transmits it securely to Kagi, and if the credit card transaction is approved, Kagi will transmit notification back to KRM. When used in conjunction with an Activation Code Generator (ACG), KRM automatically passes the registration code into the application and unlocks the software.

Available in Common Development Environments

KRM supports many programming environments and is available for both Mac and Windows platforms:

KRM for Windows (all 32-bit Windows platforms)

- KRM for Windows is distributed as a DLL, providing maximum compatibility to all compilers. The interface consists of a small number of C-style functions. Provided are header files for C/C++ and Delphi. It works just as well on Windows 95 as on the newest Windows XP.

KRM for Cocoa (Mac OSX 10.2 or later)

- Available for Java and Objective-C applications.
- Includes support for Project Builder and Xcode.

ZonicKRM (Mac OSX 10.2 or later)

- Exposed through a simple “C” interface
- Compatible with Carbon, Cocoa, and REALbasic development environments
- Includes support for: Xcode and CodeWarrior 8 &9
- Can be invoked from either CFM or Mach-O applications, packaged in either single-file or bundled form

International Capabilities

KRM is available in the following five languages, making it ideal for selling your products to an international market:

(Note: At present, KRM for Windows is only available for English and German. Localization for other languages will be added soon.)

Great Value

There is a fee of 0.75% for sales that flow through KRM. We hope you’ll agree this is a small price for the benefits of increased sales and lower customer support costs. In addition, for orders totaling under $25, we have lowered the standard Kagi transaction fee for KRM sales. For these small orders, the overall fee is actually less when using KRM.
